Since the end of last year, Ms. Zhahalova from the Pushkin Museum of Art in Russia has been traveling to and from Beijing and Moscow continuously to tell Chinese children about Russian folk tales and fairy tales. She also brought Chinese myths and legends back to Russian children Children show with paintbrush. China’s “Hou Yi Shooting for the Day” and “Nuwa Qitian” were painted by Russian children in colors full of mystery and longing, legends such as “Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai” are all portrayed in terms of softness, elegance and sadness. The ancient Russian story of “Grandpa Snow” and “Wild Swan” first added endless reverie to the creation of Chinese children in Professor Yang Jingzhi’s experimental class.
