美国的反隐身技术与隐身技术几乎是同时起步,但开始主要是学术性研究,直到80年代隐身飞机问世时仍没有太大突破,常规雷达很难在正常的作用距离上探测到隐身目标。虽然也提出过红外、声学、地球磁场扰动、被动相干传感器等其它反隐身新原理和方案,但远未实用化。如果说海湾战争中隐身飞机成功的应用对各国反隐身技术的发展起了催化剂的作用,那么近年来隐身技术被广泛用于其它武器则更加促进了反隐身技术
The anti-stealth technology and stealth technology of the United States started almost simultaneously at the same time. However, at the beginning, mainly academic research did not make much breakthrough until the stealth aircraft came out in the 1980s. It is very difficult for a conventional radar to detect a stealth target in the normal range of action. Although other new principles and schemes of anti-stealth such as infrared, acoustics, earth magnetic field perturbation and passive coherence sensors have also been proposed, they are far from practical use. If the successful application of stealth aircraft in the Gulf War played a catalytic role in the development of anti-stealth technologies in various countries, stealth technology was widely used in other weapons in recent years to further promote anti-stealth technology
