世界大麦的播种面积在谷类作物中居第四位,仅次于小麦、水稻和玉米。1983年全世界大麦播种面积为7910万公顷,基本稳定在1974—1976年的水平。大麦总产由于单产的增加而有增长。1983年大麦总产为1.67亿吨,比1974—1976年年平均的1.54亿吨增加1292.7万吨(8.4%)。
The world’s barley sows the fourth largest cereal crop after wheat, rice and corn. In 1983, the world’s barley planted area was 79.1 million hectares, basically stable at the level of 1974-1976. Total barley yield has increased due to the increase in yield. The total barley output in 1983 was 167 million tons, an increase of 12.927 million tons (8.4%) over the 154.4 million tons averaged from 1974 to 1976.
