采用两种不同等级的粉煤灰,按不同的掺量加入到沥青中,通过研究掺加粉煤灰后的沥青的化学性质、黏附性、三大指标、低温性能的变化,以探索粉煤灰对沥青的作用机理。研究发现,粉煤灰在沥青中仅是物理意义上的分散,作为无机粉状填料与沥青形成了一种复合材料———粉煤灰沥青胶浆,而不是对沥青进行了改性,且3种典型级配沥青混合料高温性能的试验结果也表明,将粉煤灰作改性剂的观点多有不妥。同时发现,掺加粉煤灰后,传统沥青延度指标已经不能科学反映其塑性变形能力。
