西安相家巷遗址(简称“CH 相”)位于西安市未央区六村堡乡相家巷村南的东西向公路以南500米处,其东邻一条南北向的干渠,南靠一条东西向的土路。该遗址地处汉长安城桂宫遗址东北角外侧(图一;图二)。1996年,相家巷村村民在此地挖积肥坑时,发现了大量封泥。此后遗址遭多次盗掘,破坏严重。为究明遗址范围、时代和文化内涵,加强对遗址的保护,中国社会科学院考古研究所汉长安城工作队于2000年夏季对此进行了勘察和发掘。勘察发掘时间自
