随着形势的发展,社会主义精神文明建设问题越来越受到各级领导和社会各界的关注和重视,从中央到地方都把精神文明建设提到了重要议事日程上,当做一件大事来抓紧抓好。结合到经济建设上,精神文明建设同样不可忽视。 马克思主义历来认为,物质和精神的关系,物质是第一位的,精神是第二位的。物质是基础,没有物质文明这个基础,精神文明就无从谈起。但是,马克思主义也从来没有轻视过精神的作用。并且强调指出,在一定条件下,精神的作用是巨大的,甚至是不可估量的。就经济建设来讲,当精神对物质发生积极作用时,可以推动经济建设迅速发展,反之,当精神对物质发生消极作用时,也可以使经济建设成果毁于一旦。正如邓小平说的那样,如果只抓物质文明建设,不抓精神文明建设,经济即使搞上去了也要垮下来。
With the development of the situation, the issue of building a socialist spiritual civilization has drawn more and more attention and attention from leaders at all levels and from all walks of life. Combined with economic construction, the construction of spiritual civilization can not be ignored. Marxism has always held that the relationship between materialism and spirituality is that matter is the first and spirit second. Material is the foundation, there is no material civilization on the basis of spiritual civilization can not talk about. However, Marxism has never neglected the role of the spirit. And stressed that under certain conditions, the role of the spirit is huge, or even immeasurable. As far as economic construction is concerned, when the spirit exerts a positive effect on the material, it can promote the rapid development of economic construction. On the contrary, when the spirit has a negative effect on the material, it can also ruin the fruits of economic construction. As Deng Xiaoping said, if we only focus on the building of a material civilization and not on the construction of spiritual civilization, the economy will collapse even if it is done.
