在西欧,最初使用矿物油作为煤矿支护设备的液压液。1956年比利时马西尼勒矿和1964年英国格拉普维尔矿相继因矿物油而引起火灾,欧洲各国即着手进行难燃液的研究工作。近年来,属于难燃液的乳化液逐步取代矿物油。现有的乳化液有两类:油包水液和水包油液。然而井下条件远比地面恶劣得多,如潮湿的气氛和有侵蚀性的矿井水,加上液压件的工作特征,腐(锈)蚀和磨蚀成了突出的问题。英国煤矿科学院对此作了一系列的调查和试验。
In Western Europe, mineral oil was initially used as the hydraulic fluid for the support of coal mines. In 1956, the Massinenil mine in Belgium and the 1964 Grappwell mine in the United Kingdom successively caused fires due to mineral oil. Countries in Europe started to study the research of the flammability liquid. In recent years, emulsions belonging to the refractory liquid gradually replace the mineral oil. There are two types of existing emulsions: water-in-oil and oil-in-water. However, the downhole conditions are far worse than the ground conditions, such as wet atmosphere and aggressive mine water, combined with the working characteristics of hydraulic components, corrosion and erosion become prominent problems. British Academy of Coal Mine made a series of investigations and experiments.
