It has been reported that a significant proportion of children have arthritis caused by allergies, and the type of allergy often associated with joint symptoms is often type III (or serum disease) in the Coombs and Gell classifications, with clinical manifestations of fever and urticaria-like rash. In the study of the incidence of arthritis, the authors found several cases of serum-like symptoms (SS). It is noteworthy here that these children have the same clinical manifestations, history of short-term features, and often associated with penicillin treatment.
