《女神》现有的十个重要的版本基本上都是在1921年初版本基础上的删改,回顾《女神》初版本出版的情况可以明显地发现,泰东图书局的出版策略以及市场需求对于《女神》编选内容的选定所造成的重要影响,同时也造成了在《女神》初版本之外大量佚诗的存在,《女神》在泰东图书局的出版既完成了郭沫若创建创造社找寻出版社的初衷,也实现了泰东图书局重新振兴的计划,是一个双赢的局面。
