Prediction of site-based seismicity using statistical methods [Yugoslavia] Petrovsky [Italy] Past and present research conducted by Marcellini on the prediction of site-site ground motion has shown that research must be based on experimental data. Therefore, based on the selected earthquakes and records, this study determined the basic attenuation function of maximum acceleration, maximum velocity, maximum displacement and response spectrum of strong earthquakes.
