意象语言以其奇特和丰富的特点自由穿行在诗歌语篇中。本文以现代汉语诗歌为语料，重新定义了意象语言；在应用语言学视角下，以诗歌意象语言的前景化为出发点，分析了现代汉语诗歌意象语言的分布特点，即重复分布、独立分布、串列分布和链列分布，并在此基础上阐述了不同的语篇功能。
