同志们: 中国建筑学会第二次全国会员代表大会在北京举行,是我国建筑事业中一件具有重要意又的事情,请允许我首先向你们,并通过你们向全国建筑师、工程师和建筑工作者致以热烈的祝贺! 当我国开始实行发展国民经济的第一个五年计划的第一年,你们曾在北京举行了建筑学会第一次会员代表大会,并成立了中国建筑学会。四年来,全国建筑师、工程师和建筑工作者在党和政府的领导下辛勤地进行了创造性的劳动,对国家建设事业作了很多有益的贡献。我国在第一个五年计划的前四年在工业建筑设计、民用建筑设计、城市规划以及建筑工程質量的改善和建筑造价的降低等方面所獲
Comrades: The second National Congress of the Chinese Architectural Society was held in Beijing. It is an important thing in China’s construction industry. As China began to implement the first year of its first five-year plan for the development of the national economy, you held the first membership meeting of the Society of Architects in Beijing and established the China Institute of Architects.
