时下流行的一个词汇是“新人类”。关于“新人类”有许多种别称——“Y 一代”、“七十年代人”、“新新人类”,或干脆称之为“另类”。关于“新人类”这一文化现象的意义,各家说法不一,不同之处尤在对“新”的文化阐释上。新人类,并非我国当代文化的特产。十几年前,美国人就在“新人类”的意义上,称建国以来出生的第13代青年(1961~1981年期间出生)为“Y 一代”。这是因为他们的上一代(战后及50年代出生)自称“X”一代,这里的“X”意味着“寻找未知”、
