1994年3月17—21日,中国中医研究院主办的“海峡两岸中医药学术研讨会”在北京召开,会议有海峡两岸各省、市和日本、印尼等国家和地区的400余名代表,收到的学术论文500余篇。会议对学术交流和促进海峡两岸中医药学发展具有重要意义。 世界卫生组织(WHO)考虑到世界人口的绝大多数初级保健依赖传统医学,在支持民族传统医学项目规划中,正式通过决议,要重视草药对人民群众的重要作用。并明确各国政府和世界卫生组织的主要目标,“到2000年人人享有健康”。
On March 17-21, 1994, the “China-Taiwan Academic Symposium on Chinese and Western Medicines” sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine was held in Beijing. The conference included more than 400 representatives from all provinces and cities on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, Japan and Indonesia and other countries and regions. More than 500 academic papers. The conference is of great significance to academic exchanges and the promotion of the development of traditional Chinese medicine in both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The World Health Organization (WHO) took into account that the overwhelming majority of primary population in the world’s population relies on traditional medicine and officially adopted resolutions in support of national traditional medicine projects. We must attach importance to the important role of herbs in the people. It also defines the main goals of governments and WHO in the world and “Everyone enjoys health by the year 2000”.
