In order to understand the community composition of arthropods in tea plantations with different planting patterns in Zhejiang Province, the number, temporal and spatial pattern of arthropod communities and the ratio of pests and their biomasses in four tea gardens in Songyang County from 2013 to 2014 were investigated. The results showed that the number of species of pests, natural enemies and total species in tea plantation were significantly higher than those in the other three kinds of tea plantations. The individuals with the highest number of natural enemies in tea plantations in the forest and the individuals with the highest number of individuals in the high yield tea plantations were the most. In the vertical distribution, the number of natural enemies in the mother-ear garden, forest tea garden in the upper most, in the high yield tea garden and two rows of dense planting tea in the middle of the middle; pest number in the abundance of tea, mother spruce and tea plantations in the middle Mostly, the following layers of dense tea plantations were the most in the two rows, accounting for 60%, 56%, 42% and 51% of the whole plant respectively; In the horizontal distribution, the number of individual pests was in the high yielding tea plantations, the two rows of densely planting tea plantations and the forest tea plantations in the northward direction, accounting for 35.0%, 26.0% and 26.3% of the total plantation respectively. The number of individuals with more natural enemies is more on the outer layer. It shows that the planting pattern can change the spatial pattern and benefit ratio of the community.
