新建本科院校的英语专业面临发展困境,在教育教学管理诸多方面都存在这样那样的问题;亟待解决三大矛盾和处理三种关系。本文主张,在近来高等教育提倡转型发展的关键期,新建本科院校英语专业应该倡导服务社会的教育理念,立足于区域经济的发展,以培养复合型人才为发展方向,从培养目标、课程设置、师资力量、实习实训、考核制度等方面建立一整套适合新建本科院校英语专业发展的具体思路和办学模式,从而实现自身的顺利转型和可持续发展。
The English majors in the new undergraduate colleges are faced with the dilemma of development and there are such problems in many aspects of education and teaching management. The three major contradictions and the handling of the three kinds of relations are urgent to be solved. This paper argues that in the crucial period of higher education’s promotion of transformation and development, the newly-established English majors should advocate the educational philosophy of serving the society. Based on the development of regional economy and the development of compound talents, the training objectives, curricula , Teachers, practical training, assessment system and so on to establish a set of specific ideas for the new undergraduate college English professional development and school mode in order to achieve its own smooth transition and sustainable development.
