商海横流,方显出优秀企业家的英雄本色。如果说,革命战争年代是造就将帅之才英雄辈出时代的话,那么,搞社会主义市场经济,则标志着企业家时代的来临。现代西方经济理论认为,企业家与资源、资本和劳动一样,是商品生产的四大要素之一。世界范围内市场经济的实践反复证明,一个能保持持久活力的优秀企业,都有一个优秀企业家掌舵,并由此形成该企业著名而独特的企业文化、企业精神、企业形象和企业风格等等。我国十几年来企业改革与管理的实践也证明,在相同或相近的条件下,企业的兴衰成败,往往系于企业领导班子尤其是“班长”的优劣贤庸;优秀的厂长(经理)引导企业充满生机活力,扭亏增盈,兴旺发达;平庸的厂长(经理)导致企业每况愈下,亏损以至破产;腐化变质的厂长(经理)更是企业的败家子,为祸企业,贻害职工,坑害国家。优秀企业家不是靠自封的,不是由某个上级或领导指定的,也不是靠不实舆论胡吹乱捧出来的,而是在社会主义市场经济的召唤下、锻炼下、筛选下造就的。在这个过程中,需要把自我提高、组织培养、社会哺育和市场造就有机结合起来。
