改革开放以来，山西省的教育期刊出版业发展极为迅速，据不完全统计，截止１９９９年５月，全省公开出版的教育类期刊约６１种。占全省期刊总数（约１８７种）的３２．６２％。从创刊的时间看，１９７７年底～１９９９年５月，山西省创办的教育类期刊的５２种，占全省期刊总数
Since the reform and opening up, the publishing industry of educational periodicals in Shanxi Province has developed very rapidly. According to incomplete statistics, as of May 1999, about 61 kinds of educational periodicals have been published in the province. Accounting for 32.62% of the total number of journals in the province (about 187 kinds). From the time of publication, from the end of 1977 to May 1999, 52 kinds of educational periodicals were founded in Shanxi Province, accounting for the total number of periodicals in the province
