“Pedestrian” is a serial of novels published by Natsume Soseki on the Asahi Shimbun in Tokyo-Osaka from December 6, 1912 to November 5, 1912. He occupies an important position in his ten-year writing career. “Pedestrian” is one of the late trilogy in late summer, a work that marks the maturation of Soseki’s thought. Pedestrians had the first translated “messenger” in China in 1985, though the book was spread to China earlier, but the impact of mass media was not that great. Even the essay and article about messenger of Natsume Soseki But also one of the few, this phenomenon deserves our thinking and research. Analyzing the “messenger” ’s acceptance and influence in China such as dissemination can help us enhance our understanding of foreign history and reality and promote cultural exchanges with other countries in the world so as to turn it into educational enlightenment and nutrition beneficial to our country.
