The elastic theory in economics has rich connotations, such as elasticity of demand and elasticity of supply, and can be further divided into price elasticity, income elasticity, and cross elasticity. The elasticity theory of the balance of payments adjustment mainly involves demand price elasticity and supply price elasticity (abbreviated as demand elasticity and supply elasticity).
