随着全球化的发展,英语在我国高等教育阶段的地位变得越来越重要,尤其在当代,大学生的学习、就业以及继续深造都与英语的掌握程度直接相关。然而,英语教学在我国高等教育中却显得力不从心。当代大学生基本是从中学阶段开始接触英语,语言学家早已认识到,认知和情感对于英语学习来说就像是硬币的两面,缺一不可。本文旨在基于前人研究的基础上分析影响当代大学生英语学习的主要消极情感因素以及引起这些消极因素的原因,并提出相应的教学启示以求与语言学习者共同探讨。
With the development of globalization, English becomes more and more important in the stage of higher education in our country. Especially in the contemporary era, college students’ study, employment and continuing education are all directly related to the mastery of English. However, English teaching can not help in higher education in our country. Contemporary college students basically come into contact with English from the middle school stage, and linguists have long realized that cognition and emotion are like two sides of a coin for English learning. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the main negative affective factors that affect the contemporary college students’ English learning and the reasons that cause these negative factors based on the previous research, and put forward the corresponding teaching enlightenment in order to discuss with the language learners.
