在文艺理论中,一般都把艺术的社会功能分为三种,即认识功能、教育功能、审美功能。这种逻辑上的划分,虽然没有说明三者之间的关系,但还是比较全面地说明了艺术包括美术在社会中所具有的几种主要功能,有助于人们分析美术史上大量的艺术现象,解释和评价具体的美术作品。
In the theory of literature and art, the social functions of art are generally divided into three types: cognitive function, educational function and aesthetic function.
