自从疫情发生以来，湖北特别是武汉时时牵动着全国人民的心。“我的城市生病了，但我依然爱它”，一首《武汉伢》拨动多少人的心弦。我们坚信，武汉是一座坚强的城市，在党和人民的共同努力下，我们一定能打赢这场疫情阻击战，武汉会重新焕发生机与活力。
Wuhan is the capital city of Hubei Province and China’s 5th largest citywith an area of 8494 sq. km. It is also the largest city in central China. lt’s animportant base for industry， science and education， and key transportation1）hub. Located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River， Wuhan isdivided by the Han River into three towns， which are Wuchang， Hankou and Hanyang.
Benefiting from a good geographic location， the city has well established railway2）infrastructure and industry， similar to Chicago in North America， 3）hence it’s known as"Oriental Chicago".

Historic interest：Yellow Crane Tower 历史古迹：黄鹤楼
The Yellow Crane Tower is located on the Yangtze River in Wuhan which enjoyedthe 4）fame of The First Scenery under Heaven ， and is said to have been built originallyin 223 AD， during the Three Kingdoms period. It has five floors and every floor has itsown charater. The theme of the first floor is about legend. On the wall， there is a 9-meterlong and 6-meter wide painted porcelain pictures showing a romantic scene of YellowCrane Tower. On the third floor， you could see many poems 5）depicted by people whovisited the tower. At the top of the tower， travelers could enjoy a fabulous 6）panoramicview of the magnificent Yangtze River and Wuhan City.
Cui Hao， a celebrated Tang Dynasty poet， visited the building in the 8th Century andwrote a famous inspirational poem. Since then， the Yellow Crane Tower had becamemore and more famous.

Jianghan Street is a famous commercial walking Street in Wuhan， Hubei Province，China. It has a history of more than one hundred years and is 1210 meters long and10 to 25 meters wide starting from Jianghan Guan Building in the south and 8）extendsto Jiefang Avenue in the north. It is a symbol of commercial and modern Wuhan. It isalso one of most famous commercial streets in China together with Wangfujing Street inBeijing， Nanjing Road in Shanghai， Heping Road in Tianjing and the Central Avenue inHarbin. Along the street there are buildings in variousstyles， architecture that housed old banks， stores，restaurants and statues depicting the everyday life ofpeople in Wuhan.
