随着全球经济、科技一体化的不断深入和石油行业与国际社会接轨的发展趋势,“熟悉专业,精通英语”的石油工程专业技术人才,已成为社会急需的应用型人才。本文介绍了ESP模式和应用型石油专业人才的概念和分类,分析了石油专业学生目前英语教学现状,最后提出了基于ESP模式的应用型石油专业人才英语教学模式设计。
With the continuous deepening of the global economy and science and technology integration and the development trend of the petroleum industry in line with the international community, the oil and gas engineering professionals who are “familiar with professionalism and proficient in English” have become the urgent need of applied talents in the society. This paper introduces the concept and classification of ESP model and applied petroleum professionals, analyzes the present situation of English teaching for petroleum students, and finally puts forward the design of English teaching model for applied petroleum professionals based on ESP model.
