There are two kinds of bilingual writers: one is written in two languages and one is written in only one language. However, no matter which language the latter uses, the texts carry other language factors, thereby increasing the difficulty of translation. This phenomenon has been introduced into China by some scholars in the post-colonial translation theory, especially in the name of “heterozygosity.” However, it lacks the example of Chinese translation. This article argues that Indian English is the contact language and Indian English literature is the contact literature. Taking the Chinese translation of Muk Raj Anand, the founder of Indian English novels, as an example, this paper analyzes the difficulties in the translation of such works, And explain how the translators solve the problem.
