This article illustrates the transduction mechanism of a ferrofluid-powered electric sound source. We studied its magnetic circuit structure in detail and placed a large rubber-filled bulb on the vibrating piston that improves the low-frequency radiation efficiency. This source has 4 octaves of low frequency broadband transmit response
