This article analyzed the situation from January 1960 to December 1977 in 61 cases and 63 cases of second-stage double neck dissection. Eighty percent of cases were between 51 and 70 years old, with an average of 59.5 years old. Of the 61 patients undergoing primary surgery, 10 retained one or both internal jugular veins and/or spinal accessory nerves. 51 routine double neck dissection.
