一、上海犹太人的形成犹太人来到中国最早可以追溯到公元1120年,一批从事棉花生意的犹太商人从波斯沿着丝绸之路来到中国北宋都城汴梁并定居下来,经过漫长的岁月,目前开封犹太人已经忘记希伯来语,被中国同化,模样长得也与中国人毫无二致。我们目前所说的中国上海犹太移民则是指:上海成了中国五口通商口岸之一后,来到中国上海的一些有着英国身份的塞法迪犹太商人,他们在上海寻到了异国乐土,凭着超乎常人的商业敏感和开拓意识,创造出一个又一个财富神话,例如沙逊家族、嘉道理家族、哈同家族等,尽管这批犹太人人数不多,仅约800人,但在当时的上海政治经济文化生活中却起着举足轻重的作用。还有就是1900年前后来到中国的俄罗斯犹太人,他们为逃避俄帝国的反犹迫害,逐渐移民上海,他们
