第一国际海牙代表大会决定把总委员会的驻地从伦敦迁往纽约,这是有其深刻的外部和内部原因的。一般对迁址的外部原因较重视,而对内部原因不加分析。因此不能全面理解总委员会把驻地从伦敦迁往纽约的原因。另外还有人认为,迁址后,第一国际的活动实际上已经停止。事实上总委员会迁址后继续坚持国际团结联合的原则,对各国的工人运动仍然进行了积极的支援。为了纯洁国际的组织,对破坏国际事业的某些派别继续开展斗争,立下了不可磨灭的功绩。现就第一国际总委员会迁往美国的原因及其活动的主要功绩分述如下。
The decision of the First International Hague Congress to relocate the headquarters of the General Committee from London to New York has its profound external and internal causes. In general, the relocation of the external causes more emphasis, but not for the internal reasons for analysis. It is therefore not possible to fully understand the reason why the General Committee relocated the resident from London to New York. Others think that First International’s activities have actually stopped after the relocation. In fact, after the relocation of the General Committee, the principle of international solidarity and unity has continued to be adhered to and active support has been given to the workers’ movement in various countries. In order to purify the international organizations, they have continued their struggle against certain factions that undermine international affairs and have made indelible contributions.
