作为西部大开发路网建设一部分的兰州至成都铁路选线设计,从线路通道的地理位置出发,综合分析线路走向沿线的人口、资源分布以及经济社会效益,特别是在国民经济中和路网中的作用,结合沿线地形条件和各类资源分布及开发前景,提出按干线与支线相结合的原则布设区域路网的设想,所提出的线路走向既有利于少数民族经济欠发达地区的经济发展需要,又成为国家路网宏观建设的有机组成部分,同时兼顾了区域旅游资源的开发利用。研究结论为:兰州至成都铁路线路方案宜采用经临夏、合作方案,定位为客货共线的区域路网铁路干线,同时考虑兼顾九寨沟旅游客流及沿线地方货流量需要的支线联络线路。

The proposed route is not only beneficial to the economic development of the economically underdeveloped minority nationalities It has also become an integral part of the macro-construction of the national road network, taking into account the development and utilization of regional tourism resources. The conclusion is that the Lanzhou-Chengdu railway route plan should adopt regional road network railway line with Linxia and cooperation programs as passenger and freight line, meanwhile, it should consider the branch contact line that takes into account the passenger flow of Jiuzhaigou and the local cargo flow along the route.
