宋人好破体,“记体文”虽以叙事为主,但也同时将几种文体的创作风格和表现手法综合起来加以运用,这就使得文体之间相互渗透,取长补短,形成了“破体为记”这一文学现象.而本论文所提到的欧阳修,正是宋代“破体为记”的典型代表.
