丁乃光同志,曾任中共甘肃省委常委、组织部长兼省直机关党委书记。粉碎“四人帮”后,担任中共甘肃省委纪律检查委员会寿备小组第一副组长、甘肃省政协副主席、全国政协委员。1981年12月15日因病逝世。终年64岁。缅怀丁乃光同志在甘肃工作的业绩,对于我们更好地贯彻落实十四届五中全会精神,进一步加强党的思想,组织和作风建设具有非常重要的现实意义。丁乃光同志是1962年5月来到甘肃工作的,在担任省委常委、省委组织部部长期间,他认真执行党的“德才兼备”的干部政策,坚持原则,公道正派,作风民主,襟怀坦白,顾全大局,从不计较个人得失。凡属省委管理的干部的选拔任用,在提请省委常委会议讨论前,他都要求弄清这个干部的全部历史和一贯工作表现,在肯定其德才都比较好的情况下,再提交常委会议讨决定,从不违犯任免程序和干部管理权限。在干部使用中,他不搞亲亲疏疏,不凭个人印象,坚持原则,使一大批德才都比较好的干部充实到各组领导班子,推动了全省各项事业的发展。对犯错误的干部,在处理上他十分慎重,总是告诫下面:“应教育干部提高认识,总结经验教训。过多的处分干部
