Rhodiola is a perennial herb of the sedum family. Its active ingredients are mainly salidroside and its tyrosol. In the 1970s, it was approved by the Ministry of Health of the Soviet Union as a ginseng-type stimulant and “adapted” drug and geriatric health-care drug. In our country, Sichuan and other places are extremely rich in resources. Based on the characteristics of the structure of tyrosol and one of its authors’ own experience, it is believed that the drug should be able to coordinate the excitement and inhibition of the central nervous system.
