流畅性是同传口译质量评价的重要指标之一。本研究根据会议口译特点设计语块认知教学法,通过两轮语块认知训练考察其对同传流畅性的作用,每轮实验组和对照组各15位受试,跟踪研究16周,研究结果t检验在汉英同传的中断、空白、犹豫和修补4个指标上差异非常显著,在英汉同传的中断、犹豫、修补3个指标上差异非常显著。英汉和汉英同传的重复指标t检验变化均不显著。实验材料分析表明,重复处理是译员为了保持流畅性而采取的变通策略。同时,英汉同传空白指标t检验差异不显著,实验材料分析表明译员为实现流畅性采取省略同传策略。实证研究表明:语块认知训练对学生同传的流畅性有显著促进作用。
Fluency is one of the most important indicators of the quality of simultaneous interpretation. In this study, we designed a block cognitive teaching method based on the interpretation of conference interpretations, and investigated its effect on the smoothness of simultaneous interpretation through two-phrase cognitive training. Fifteen subjects in each experimental group and control group were followed up for 16 weeks, The results of t test in Chinese and English simultaneous disruption, blank, hesitation and repair four indicators of the difference is very significant, in the English-Chinese simultaneous interruption, hesitation, repair three indicators of the difference was significant. There was no significant difference in the t-test of repeated measures between English-Chinese and Chinese-English simultaneous interpretation. Experimental material analysis shows that the repetitive process is a transposing strategy adopted by translators in order to maintain fluency. At the same time, there is no significant difference between the t-test of English-Chinese simultaneous interpretation of blank indicators. The experimental material analysis shows that translators omit the strategy of simultaneous interpretation for fluency. Empirical studies show that the cognitive training of chunks can significantly promote the fluency of students’ simultaneous interpretation.
