大跨度张弦梁结构(Beam String Structure,简称BSS)是近十余年来快速发展和应用的一种新型大跨空间结构形式。结构由刚度较大的抗弯构件(又称刚性构件,通常为梁、拱或桁架)和高强度的弦(又称柔性构件,通常为索)以及连接两者的撑杆组成;通过对柔性构件施加拉力,使相互连接的构件成为具有整体刚度的结构,如图1所示。由于综合应用了刚性构件抗弯刚度高和柔性构件抗拉强度高的优点,张弦梁结构可以做到结构自重相对较轻,体系的刚度和形状稳定性相对较大,因而可以跨越很大的空间。一般说来,尽管张弦梁的梁、拱和桁架截面可为空间形状,但结构的整体仍表现为平面受力结构。同时,张弦梁的组合亦可构成空间受力结构。
Beam String Structure (BSS) is a new type of large-span space structure developed and applied rapidly in recent ten years. The structure is composed of stiffer flexural members (also called rigid members, usually beams, arches or trusses) and high strength chords (also called flexible members, usually cables) and struts connecting the two; The member exerts a pulling force, so that the interconnected members become a structure with overall rigidity, as shown in FIG. 1. Due to the combination of high flexural rigidity of rigid members and high tensile strength of flexible members, the beam string structure can achieve a relatively light weight of the structure and a relatively large rigidity and shape stability of the system, so that a large space can be spanned. In general, although the beams, arches and truss sections of the beam string can be of spatial shape, the overall structure is still represented by a planar force structure. In the meantime, the combination of the stringers and beams can also constitute a space-bearing structure.
