Water has a very significant impact on many physico-chemical behavior of silicate systems. Specifically for part of the melting process, water can significantly reduce the melting temperature, changing the melt properties, affecting the distribution of trace elements in the solid-liquid phase. In recent years, scientists have carried out many high-pressure experiments on the effect of a large amount of water on the partial melting process of silicate systems. They have mainly focused on the important role of the second critical end point on the melting process: the appearance of the second critical end point has greatly changed Part of the melting process of the basic correlation. In this paper, we mainly make a summary of these high-voltage experiments and make a preliminary study on the future research directions.
