《论纲》揭示的是文化经济—时间—空间三者关系的元理论,为文化经济研究开辟了一个新领域——时间与空间文化经济学,并提出了研究纲要。但遗憾的是《论纲》对“空间”概念的阐释尚不够深入,对文化经济空间生产过程中涉及到的空间与文化经济生产相联系的方式、路径等问题也没有作出深入的分析。在文化经济的话语中,空间既是物质的,又是非物质的,与传统地理学中的区位、地方等概念既相区别又有联系。文化经济空间生产的过程集中体现在两个方面:空间依赖与空间再造,前者是文化经济利用空间、依赖空间进行生产,体现的是空间的资源属性;后者是文化生产的结果,空间是文化产品,文化及其产品就是被生产的空间。
