I. The Rise and Fall of Silicon Valley Semiconductor Corporation Since the establishment of the Shockley transistor company in the Paloor region in 1955, the half-body industry has taken root in California. In the 1960s, there were 31 semiconductor companies in Silicon Valley. By 1970, the semiconductor industry had become the largest and most dynamic part of the economy in Silicon Valley. Silicon Valley’s early semiconductor companies were characterized by risk management and competition. Their business culture was flexible and innovative. They competed and cooperated with each other. Companies in the region competed for market share and technological leadership. At the same time, they all rely on the unique cooperation practice in this area. The so-called “Silicon Valley Paradox” means that competition needs continuous innovation, and innovation in turn requires cooperation between companies. At the time, nothing was more precious than the individual’s originality and advanced technology.
