“我们要以最小的成本、最简单的网络结构、最宽的带宽容量和最快的速度构造IP基础骨干网络”,网通公司总工程师杨志伟在谈到网通的网络建设时使用了4个“最”字。网通提出的E-基础设施(E-Frastructure)概念,旨在构造全新开放式的Internet骨干网络,并在此基础平台上提供宽带高质的数据服务。E-基础设施从技术上以全光纤IP优化宽带骨干网为特色,而带宽批发业务及IDC(数据中心)业务则是网通作为基础设施提供者推出的产品和服务。对于网通E-基础设施的建设以及IDC业务的开展,杨志伟从宏观的角度做了阐述。
“We want to construct the IP backbone network with the least cost, the simplest network structure, the widest bandwidth capacity and the fastest speed,” said Yang Zhiwei, chief engineer of China Netcom when it comes to the network construction of China Netcom using four “ ”word. Netcom proposed the E-Infrastructure concept to create a new, open, Internet backbone that provides broadband high-quality data services on this base platform. The E-infrastructure technically features a fully fiber optic IP optimized broadband backbone, while the bandwidth wholesale business and IDC (data center) business are the products and services that Netcom launched as an infrastructure provider. For the construction of Netcom E-infrastructure and IDC business, Yang Zhiwei elaborated from a macro perspective.
