海南东环铁路于2010年12月30日建成通车,客流量持续攀升,社会反映十分良好,已经成为往来于海口至三亚间的人们出行首选。但是由于前期投入多,资金成本压力大,公司运营一直处于亏损状态,而且有逐年上升趋势。为了尽量减少运营成本,全线已经建成多年的海口市域范围内的长流站、秀英站、城西站等3站由于客流量达不到要求不能及时开通运营,导致高铁设施设备闲置浪费。因此如何充分利用已经建成的高铁车站便成为十分迫切需要解决的问题。
Hainan East Ring Railway was completed and opened to traffic on December 30, 2010. Passenger traffic continued to rise and social response was very good. It has become the first choice of people traveling between Haikou and Sanya. However, due to more investment in the previous period and the pressure of capital cost, the Company’s operation has been at a loss and has been increasing year by year. In order to minimize the operating costs, the three stations of Changliu Station, Xiuying Station and Chengxi Station within the scope of Haikou City, which have been built for many years, can not be opened and operated due to the unacceptable passenger flow, resulting in the idle and wasted high-speed railway facilities and equipment. Therefore, how to make full use of the existing high-speed rail stations has become a very urgent issue to be solved.
