对于如何搞好大学文科教学,是当前高等教育中值得注意的问题。总结和运用解放后17年高等教育的经验,对今天的大学文科教学是有益处的。根据目前大学文科学生的来源看,必须制订出一套适合于实际情况的教学方法。77、78、79等三届文科大学生中,应届高中毕业生仅占20—30%左右,而来自社会不同行业的人员占70—80%。成份的变化,使在校的文科大学生具有一些不同于17年的文科大学生的特点。下面我们试做些分析: 一、77—79届文科生,不少同学有一些社会生活经验,知识面比较宽,观察问题的能力和思考问题的深度都较之高中毕业生强一些。但是,他们普遍缺乏比较系统的初、高中基础知识。二、他们的求知欲很强,学习也都比较自觉。但是,由于缺乏系统的基本技能的训练,因而还是停留在泛泛掌握知识的水平上。三、当他们正在长知识和形成世界观的时期,正是林彪、“四人帮”极左思潮泛滥的时候,
How to do a good job in university liberal arts education is a noteworthy issue in current higher education. Summing up and applying the experience of post-liberation 17-year higher education is beneficial to today’s university liberal arts teaching. According to the current source of university liberal arts students, we must draw up a set of teaching methods suitable for the actual situation. Among 77, 78, 79 three-year liberal arts students, fresh graduates only account for about 20-30%, while people from different social sectors account for 70-80%. Changes in the composition of the liberal arts students in the school have some characteristics different from 17 years of liberal arts students. Here we try to do some analysis: First, 77-79 arts students, many students have some social life experience, knowledge is relatively wide, the ability to observe the problem and the depth of thinking problems are better than high school graduates. However, they generally lack the basic knowledge of comparative systems in primary and high schools. Second, their thirst for knowledge is very strong, learning is also more conscious. However, due to the lack of systematic training of basic skills, it still remains at the level of general knowledge. Third, when they are in the period of developing knowledge and forming a world outlook, it is the time when Lin Biao and the “Gang of Four” left a wave of leftist thoughts.
