[U.S. “Nuclear Combustion,” October 12, 1981, p. 13.] With regard to the issue of radiative standards for uranium miners, at the international conference held in the last sentence of October 1981, it was suggested that the United States should proceed from the existing 4 jobs per year. The monthly level falls to 0.7 working level months per year. Such a large uranium mine would cost more than $30 million. This issue has not yet been finalized and will continue to be studied in the future. The average dose of uranium miners in the United States in 1979 was estimated to be 1.88 to 2.9 months per year.
