This article proposes: Does “writer” need to re-embody the identity of the earlier “artist” ?, and thinks that children’s literature writer is actually the most needed person to face many kinds of art among all writers. This article demonstrates emphatically that the new communication tools represented by computers are not alien to writers, on the contrary, they are approachable. This paper argues that: Among the many artistic expressions of children’s literature, the visual art of “graphic-text relations” is the most fundamental. It is the computer age that made it possible for writers to intervene directly and to handle some kind of “graphic” performance.
