In the already well-established Chinese art system, traditional philosophy has always influenced Chinese people’s ideas and concepts. The traditional Chinese art such as freehand brushwork, moods and images are derived from its own conscious connection with its own philosophy. Unlike the “absolute idea” or “Logos” thought of western philosophy, Chinese Taoists believe that everything in the world is born from “nothing ”, but in the end it reverts to “nothing ”. As Lao Tzu said: “All things in the world are born, born in nothing.” (“Lao Tzu” Chapter 40). However, “no ” is not all-encompassing,
