高能物理实验具有大数据量和高计算量的特点,需要分布式计算系统对多个合作单位的计算和存储资源进行整合。中国科学院高能物理研究所已经创建了分布式计算环境,并实现对多个高能物理实验的稳定支持。近年来由于云计算技术不断发展成熟,其扩展性和易定制的特性非常适合应用于高能物理实验计算,是一种新的分布式计算资源类型。我们对云计算与分布式计算的结合应用进行了研究,成功将云计算整合到中国科学院高能物理研究所的分布式计算系统中,实现云站点的稳定运行,并进入生产状态提供给物理用户使用。
High-energy physics experiments with large amounts of data and high computational complexity require distributed computing systems to consolidate computing and storage resources across multiple partners. Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences has created a distributed computing environment, and to achieve a number of high-energy physics experiments stable support. In recent years, as the cloud computing technology continues to mature, its scalability and easy to customize features are very suitable for high-energy physics experiments, is a new type of distributed computing resources. We conducted a research on the combined application of cloud computing and distributed computing and successfully integrated the cloud computing into the distributed computing system of Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences to achieve the stable operation of the cloud site and to enter the production state for use by physical users .
