In the Tang Dynasty, the Christian Nestorians carried out a certain amount of missionary work in China. The Chinese literature referred to it as Nestorianism. Five years after Huichang, under the influence of the Buddist era, Nestorianism tended to decline in mainland China. However, the research on Nestorianism is getting more and more scholars’ attention in China. However, most of the articles on Nestorianism focus on the rise and fall of Nestorianism in China, and there have been existential inscriptions on Jingjiao and scriptures. There is little research on the art of painting left over during the period of Nestorian’s Epics, which has become the defect of Nestorian’s study at this stage. This paper intends to sort out the existing part of Nestorian painting art and presents a charming side of Nestorianism.
