在以多元文化为显著特征的当今时代,文化的多元与价值的相异日渐凸显。任何一个国家、任何一所学校既不能坚守本国文化而绝对排斥他国文化,也不能盲目移植别国的先进文化、照抄别国学校的道德教育来推进本国的文化建设和道德教育。因此,延续和拓展何种文化价值观,秉持和倡导何种道德精神,势必成为多元文化背景下道德教育的艰难抉择。作为一种文化现象,道德教育既要弘扬民族文化和培育民族精神,又要吸收与借鉴多元文化的先进成果,进而创造新的文化范式和本土道德。于是,兼有二者属性的制度安排便自然地回应了这一两难诉求,成为多元文化视域中道德教育的应有之义。
In today's era characterized by multiculturalism, the diversity of cultures and their differences in value have become increasingly prominent. No country in any one country can neither insist on its culture of absolute rejection of the culture of other countries nor blindly transplant the advanced culture of other countries and copy the moral education of schools in other countries to promote its own cultural construction and moral education. Therefore, what kind of cultural values should be extended and expanded, and what kind of moral spirit should be upheld and advocated will inevitably become a difficult choice for moral education in a multi-cultural background. As a cultural phenomenon, moral education should not only carry forward the national culture and cultivate the national spirit, but also absorb and borrow the advanced achievements of multiculturalism so as to create a new cultural paradigm and local morality. Therefore, the institutional arrangement that combines the two properties naturally responds to this dilemma and becomes the proper meaning of moral education in the multicultural perspective.
