自1911年至今,印第赛车已经成为与F1、勒芒并列的世界三大车赛之一,目前更成为北美影响力最大的汽车赛事。相对于偏重技术的F1与考验耐力的勒芒,将速度放在首位的印第赛车显然更合美国人的胃口。
Since 1911, Indy Motorsport has become one of the world’s top three racing cars in line with F1 and Le Mans and is now the most influential car race in North America. Relative to the emphasis on technology F1 and test endurance Le Mans, the speed of the Indian race car is clearly more in line with the American appetite.
