在印尼爪哇地区的农民家作客时,至今还严守着他们世俗的礼节。若是有人想去作客,他要首先敲门,同时嘴里念着向主人问候:“Kulonuwen”（伊斯兰教徒之间在互相祝安和问候的用语）,意思大约是:“祝你平安,你好！”。房主人一边开门,一边急着“monggo”（伊斯兰教徒用语）,意思是:“请进！”。进到屋里以后,房主人要请他的客人坐在指定的位置,客人不要随便找地方乱坐。大概是因为这种习俗吧,在爪哇地区,客人在主人让坐和指出坐的位置之前是不会坐下的,生怕不小心,坐到了不该坐的地方。这是爪哇地区作客的习俗。 Farmers’ homes in Java, Indonesia, have so far kept their worldly customs. If anybody wants to be a guest, he will knock on the door first and at the same time, greet the host greetings in his mouth: “Kulonuwen” (a phrase used by Muslims to greet each other and greet him) means something like: “I wish you peace, hello ! ” The owner hurried to “monggo” (the term Islam) while opening the door, meaning “Please Come in!”. After entering the house, the owner wants his guests to sit in the designated location, guests do not mess around to find the place. Probably because of this custom, in the Java region, guests are not allowed to sit down before the master makes a seat and indicates where they are sitting, for fear of accidentally sitting there where they should not sit. This is a custom of visiting Java in the region.
