2003年12月26日,是毛泽东诞辰110周年,各地群众和干部在这个值得纪念的日子即将到来时,正在用种种方式表达他们对毛泽东的怀念和崇敬之情。现把有关信息综述如下: ※韶山市委、市政府最近开始整修韶山毛泽东故居,以恢复毛泽东少年时的原貌。1959年,毛泽东回韶山时,看到家乡的巨大变化,曾挥笔写下了“喜看稻菽千重浪,遍地英雄下夕烟”的优美诗句。但10多年来,随着旅游业的迅速发展,故居门口的水田里种上了经济作物,周边修起了现代味很浓的建筑物,破坏了原来的富有历史
